February Earnings

I didn’t take any trips in February, but it was a good month for earning points. I put spend across three cards:

Bank of America Premium Rewards
Barclays AAdvantage Aviator Red
Chase Ink Business Unlimited

I completed the bonus for the Bank of America card which resulted in a redemption of $629.14. Now that I’ve got the bonus, I won’t be charging much to this card but I do intend to keep it for the annual airline credit. I won’t be putting much more onto the AAdvantage card either as I just needed some spend to make it to 15,000 loyalty points which I redeemed for five seat upgrades on American flights. I earned 3,168 miles in addition to the seat upgrade certificates. I’m now shifting all my expenses over to the new Chase card which will eventually earn a $900 bonus. In February, I earned 525 points with the card.

In non-credit card earnings, I completed a bank account bonus for the American Express business checking which gave me 50,000 Membership Rewards points. I also got my quarterly payout from Rakuten (referral link) for $25.54. Amazon Shopper Panel had a survey for me, so I ended up with a gift card for $11.75 instead of the usual $10. Amazon is changing this program in April, so this might not be the easy earning that it has been. I earned another $15 Amazon card from Microsoft Rewards. Other programs like Swagbucks (referral link) gave me points too, but I didn’t redeem in February; my earnings should be good for March as I’ve started to take advantage of the games that reward points.
