November Earnings

I began working on a new bonus in November. Although I’ve already had the American Express Business Gold (referral link), I received a targeted offer for 175,000 Membership Rewards after spending $10,000 in three months. It’s going to take some prepaying of bills to meet that spend as well as charging my rent which carries a 2.5% fee, but the signup bonus is worth it. The card also has an annual fee of $375 which is partially offset by a monthly $20 credit at certain stores (it includes Staples where Amazon gift cards can be bought) so it’s unlikely I’ll keep it past the first year. I haven’t put much spend on the card yet, so I only added 3,143 Membership Rewards points.

In non-credit card bonuses, I managed enough points for another $25 Swagbucks (referral link) redemption even though the games earnings have dried up a bit. I always get the MasterCard because it comes with an extra discount and then I redeem that for something else; I usually go with Uber (referral link) to offset my airport transportation, but I don’t have any trips coming up so I used it for Starbucks this time. I also redeemed $10 in Microsoft Rewards for an Amazon card. The Amazon Shopper Panel continues to have a low payout with the new structure, so that was only $3.80 for the Amazon gift card this month.
