May was a very light month in terms of points, but I will have the American Express Blue Business (referral link) bonus post in June. For May though I only ended up with 1,536 Membership Rewards from American Express. I also earned 3,638 points with my latest card from US Bank. The Leverage card had a $900 bonus attached when I signed up, so that will be my focus for June.
I redeemed a few cashback earners that have been building for a while. With BrandClub it’s best to wait until you have close to $50 because they charge a fee of $1.50 for each cashout. I finally had enough in May, so I transferred $48.49 to PayPal. I also decided to cashout for Microsoft’s receipt scanning feature which added $16.94 into PayPal. Another PayPal redemption came from MyPoints (referral link) with $25. For gift cards, I just barely got to 10 receipts with the changes to Amazon Shopper Panel, but did manage to get the $10 Amazon card; at least now there’s a partial reward if I ever can’t get all 10. I also got a $14 Amazon card from Microsoft Rewards. Finally, I earned $25 from Swagbucks (referral link) which I redeemed for the discounted prepaid MasterCard. The Swagbucks games have proven to be good points earners so I’ll have enough points in June that I could redeem $50 worth, but there’s only one discounted card per month so I’ll probably just do $25 again.
